About a year ago, I was post two major abdominal surgeries. I had a hard time walking and getting myself around independently. This led to a lot of things being put off like my eating habits and fitness! In September, I was cleared to go back to working out! I was also asked to be in my friend's wedding in May and wanted to be in the best shape for their special day! I was excited to go for these goals and get back into shape! Then I was approached by one of the trainers in the gym and he asked if I’d ever done personal training. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into… it had been a while since I had a trainer and was nervous after just having two surgeries. Fast forward 6-7 months and I am in the best shape that I have ever been in!!!! It didn’t happen overnight. It didn’t happen in a week, a month, or 2 months. It took time! It wasn’t easy and sometimes super frustrating! I so easily could’ve given up when it got hard, but I kept going because I wanted to be better! I’m now down 25lbs, down a pant and shirt size and my confidence is waaayy up! I have the best trainer and have met some of my closest friends. If you are wondering when is a good time to start, NOW is that time. There isn’t going to be a time when it’s perfect or you have everything else figured out, you just have to go for it! I still have days where it’s hard, frustrating, but there is always the one constant and that is the gym and going and getting a GREAT workout in!!

I honestly can't believe how fast I've been seeing results each week. There's never a day I workout where I'm not achieving new personal records and it truly motivates me to keep on going. Ben really does know his stuff and will adapt the exercises and routines to match your body's unique needs, making sure you get optimal results. Additionally, our sessions together are always a blast and I look forward to them! :)
